I was the 2020-2021 graduate student colloquium committee representative in the Physics Department. My role was to secure three distinguished speakers for our weekly department-wide colloquia, considering graduate student interest. I had the privilege of getting the legendary Dr. David Tong from the University of Cambridge to agree to a virtual drinking game (I had to find a way to spicen things up during lockdown). It was such a fun time!
Thanks a lot for hosting me yesterday and for putting on the fun and games. It was great to meet you all, and certainly made the event more memorable than the usual zoom talks I give.
